Our mission … making a difference to our community by opening up a store in which people can find needed/wanted treasures at the fraction of the cost. A community store. A Mercantile in which most things are found. A little old fashion. So much so that the price you see …tax is included. Pacific Pearl will also be contributing to the non-profits of our area. For each transaction, a $1 token will be given to the customer to choose which non-profit to give to. This is to remind people that our non-profits need us. And every bit makes a difference. It makes Us feel good, the customer feel good and the non-profit benefits.

Pacific Pearl is a Upcycle Mercantile - Artisan Co-Op. This encompasses used items such as:

Our model is also a Mercantile - so the price you see … is the price you pay. All price tags include the sales tax and the non-profit dollar donation.

Pacific Pearl is a resource for people to visit often for things needed at a fair price. We believe that not everything has to be expensive. Our intent is to have things at a very reasonable price to move them. When we receive a consignment item- once the item sells - the seller receives 80% … Pacific Pearl receives 20%. We believe the owner of the piece should make more than we do.

We’re Dave and Sandy Brown; Native Californian’s who value and hold dear our beautiful nature we live in. We also hold dear our environment. We believe that we have enough on this earth to sustain us all. We decided to open up an Upcycle Mercantile which means reusing or improving items that may well be discarded into that ever growing dump. We also believe that things shouldn’t be so expensive. We want to become part of a hub of community in the Mendocino Coast area. A place where people can find treasures or useful things at a fair price. Pacific Pearl is also an Artisan Co-Op, where you’ll find unique one-of-a-kind art to enjoy. That way the community profits; not just us!

Pacific Pearl will be funneling items to all of the thrift stores also; when things don’t move in the store, we’ll donate them. It’s a Win, Win, Win, Win!
